(Unofficial) Toddler Parents Support Thread?

Yesterday I posted (somewhat jokingly) to my Instagram story: "Hi hello, where do I sign up for the Parents of Three Year Olds" support group?" And if you have parented/taken care of a three year old—or toddler in general— you know. Right? Kiddos are so incredible and sweet and wild and curious and cute...AND truly, psychologically, it is just their world and we're living in it.

So here we are: I have three kids, 3 and under, so I'm parenting a three-year-old for the first time. I feel like every day is a game of extreme mental gymnastics, and the gold medal goes to no one. There are a lot of "wins"; it can be a lot of fun; there is a Lot of love. And some days I'm like, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT FLIP.

Anyone else?! 🙂 I'm here to say "I'm with you and I see you" and also just to hope I'm not alone.

Definitely right there with you. My 3yr old turned 4 a few months ago. I can say with time things do get better. She is much more reasonable and is able to process her emotions to let us know what she wants and needs. Also she definitely has *less* tantrums. Sending lots of love ❤️

Thanks for adding your experience, @Valerie_C ! I keep thinking "maybe 4 will be a little easier" but also, now I know each age comes with new challenges and also a lot of fun and sweet new things. 🙂 Maybe it's just being along for that ride.
