It’s been a summer of missing my me-time, being surrounded by all the house chores, and children begging to play with mom; add scrolling social media and seeing everyone else have it together. Some days I just feel defeated. So a daily mantra of telling myself that I am a good mom and all will be okay seemed a bit silly at first, but it’s actually quite helpful with resetting my mind frame.
I love this and I’m so happy you’ve found something that works so well for you!!
and I totally relate! I’ve been doing abundance and self-worth mantra every night, silly at first, but I’m finding them sooo powerful! I’ve been sleeping sooo well, and feeling so good!
Mantras are powerful!!!! Not silly at all. Relate completely!
Hey sis! No one else has it together...I promise!
I'm so happy mantras help you, they are so very powerful, but do not ever let yourself believe anyone has it together!
You're perfect and doing an incredible j-o-b!
Congratulations on doing what you need to do for you. I don't think I've related most to post than yours. Glad to hear that other Mom's are experiencing the struggle of trying to be superMOM and even more glad you are able to do self-esteem building to help as I do that too. Saying prayers for all of us as well.
@aat omg I love this! Its so important to give ourselves daily reminders, its so easy to forget that we're doing our best! @Margeaux_H has some great tips on mantras and affirmations, it really helped me so wanted to share: How to Create Empowering Affirmations & Mantras
