Good morning everyone. I wanted to share this 13 minute Ted Talk by clinical psychologist Shauna Shapiro. Harvard research shows that our mind wanders 47% of the time. The studies show that no matter what age, 'not being enough' was a common thought among participants. "Shame robs the brain", Shauna mentions, and talks about and how mindfulness, specifically kind attention is a way to develop courage to look at the parts of ourselves that we may not want to see. A useful video!
Thanks for sharing this @Rachel_M! Being confident in yourself can be such a hard thing to do, especially when intrusive thoughts tell you otherwise. It takes daily work to remind ourselves that we are enough and are deserving of all the good things coming toward us. Such a great reminder!
