Come join me this Thursday 8/19 @ 8am PST / 11am EST for some mental exercises. We will be focusing on the following:

 

  • Tension building in the body - tension/relaxation recognition (10 minutes)
  • Breath holds - maintaining calmness/letting go (10 minutes)
  • Practice of observation - the practice of meditation/detaching (10 minutes)

Very excited for this! I'm noticing a lot of tension in the body lately - especially jaw and chest. Not sure if we'll cover how to relax those but I've also been interested in the tension/release tactic to calm oneself.  Unfortunately I can't make it tomorrow morning - will this be recorded? @Vanessa 

Yes! We’ll be doing some isometric tension holds clenching muscles and releasing. I am having issues converting my Zoom videos at the moment but I am hoping I can figure it out so that I can repost here.

Update: I cannot figure out how to download the recorded video from Zoom. For some reason it is opening the file up in a software that only plays audio. Attempting to troubleshoot with Zoom. Sorry about this!
