Walking is one of the most accessible and enjoyable forms of exercise. It’s a great way to get back into a movement routine if you’ve stepped away for a few years – or even decades. Walking doesn’t require any equipment or special skill, and indoor walking can be done anywhere, including your living room! 

 

And yes – even 10 minutes makes a difference. Studies continue to show that consistent walking in short bouts of time can positively affect your mental health. It’s also a great option if you’re looking to manage your weight. While walking may not burn as many calories as more intense exercise, it still adds up if you do it regularly.
