so I've been going to the gym consistently for the past month (and eating kinda better) and I lost 10 pounds!!!! i go at like 4:30 in the morning with my dad and its been hard lol. but proud that the hard work is paying off.
i get those stares from men or I don't want to get up that early or I may be low energy but I still get through it. im still looking for ways to switch things up. i started doing more cardio and doing less weight/more reps and that seems to be working.
i haven't told my friends and family yet but im just so happy.
That’s awesome that you’re getting back into rhythm. Keep at it!
thank you @oaktownish!
i love hearing the positive experiences, especially these days! great work @GoodbyeVal !
thank you so much @Lan!
Congratulations! Wow 430- that is major discipline there. Thank you for sharing your success here, and being real about how hard it is. If you choose to tell your friends, they will be happy because you're happy, but it's so wonderful that you're recognizing your own hard work ❤️
yeah it is really hard but its been paying off. i know they'll be happy and ill tell them eventually. thank you! @mmyogabeach2
This is incredible. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤️
thank you @danielle!
430 am?!?!? Congrats! Such hard work and thank you for sharing something you're proud of! Maybe you'll inspire me to get to the gym... but not at 430 lol. Hats off to you!
Yeah the 4:30 is a stretch (even for me haha) but I think the consistency is the key. thank you! @Nkpascale
Wow that's awesome! Aside from the weight, are you feeling better too @GoodbyeVal ?
@Bhyltonyeah in general I feel like my mood is much better and I'm a lot happier. Just this sense of accomplishment makes me feel like I can do anything I put my mind to!
Good for you! Keep crushing it:)
Congrats on being so consistent and going early. I often find the weight section of the gym intimidating - I'm trying to get more into strength training myself.
how awesome! getting movement in every day regardless of what it is is so great for our bodies! and regarding telling family or friends about the new routine, i always love to say to myself “just for me, just for fun, never tell anyone” 😉
so cool. trying to get back into the gym, this is really inspiring
