Tell us in the comments below what are some of your most fun activities? From dance parties to pickleball games, when are you enjoying yourself the most?
I do love Pickleball! The game is fast and fun and the women I play with are very fun!! Dance parties used to be fun when my kids were younger....my music used to their favorite, but now they've grown. (LOL, no more 80's/90's tunes for them!). I also enjoy ping pong!! I probably have fun with all my activities except for golf!!!
Dance parties and walks with friends are the best! We get to catch up and workout at the same time. Win win!
My passion is Pilates! Love teaching on zoom! And in person! Walking and using the rowing machine at the gym is my go to cardio!
Hikes at state parks and brining my pup on leisurely walks around the neighborhood.
I love time in nature: hike or walk. Jog or run. Skip, hop or yoga. Movement + nature = JOY
Some of my favorites are bike rides with friends and family, hiking, group gym workouts and going for walks.
I love yoga. It is not as stressful on the body and I love the sense of community you get from attending a group class consistently. If I can find a class that is in (or overlooks) nature, it is perfect.
I love trail running especially with friends!
I love playing Cornhole with my family and friends when the weather starts warming up! In my town we have Cornhole leagues and it’s so fun to get outdoors and have some competitive fun with each other. Plus, the game can be as skilled and strategic as you want it to be - so easy to play with young children to super competitive adults!
I like taking over my son’s XBox to play Just Dance as my cardio, end-of-day stress reliever. After moving into a new house and trying to overhaul the yard, gardening is another enjoyable physical activity that builds muscles, too!
I love long beach walks with my friends and lots of dogs! #5DAYSOFPLAY
During the pandemic since travel abroad seems fraught with all kinds of unpredictable misadventures, I've loved planning active vacations around National Parks where we hike each day and just enjoy nature and a change of scenery! Otherwise I've stayed active inside and out at the gym and biking/hiking daily.
Yoga yoga yoga, tennis, pickleball, walking, yoga, yoga, yoga
My favorite activities are hiking with the family and camping! I also love running, pickle ball, swimming, kickboxing, and just moving outside!
I have been a lifelong runner, but ever since developing plantar fasciitis months ago, I have been figuring out new ways to get my cardio in. I used to rollerblade back in college, so I recently tried that out again! My partner got me a new pair of adorable pink, white, and green rollerblades for Mother’s Day, and I don’t think I have taken them off since I received them! Rollerblading can be sooo much fun, especially if you have any paved surfaces or trails near you!!! #impalainlineskates
Though I haven't been playing much lately, getting out for a round of golf brings me the most joy, especially when I get to play with my mom. We both love the game and have a great time, no matter what our scores say 🙂
I love playing tennis! Such a fun sport to play with friends. Pickleball is awesome for couples….fun date night. I enjoy outdoor walks with friends or family. My go to is strength classes at the gym. Mixing it up between TRX, bands, weights and spin classes.
I love hiking and going on walks! Being in nature is my favorite and I need fresh air to feel more alive! My dog, Vinny, loves to go with and motivates me to get movement in!
I especially enjoy hikes and playing tennis, since they enable me to be outside and spending time with people I enjoy.
I've always loved walking my dog but now that she's 12, our 3-4 rapid walks per day have turned into short leisurely sessions. I definitely need to find something cardio to maintain my own health.
After a long week, I enjoy going on beach hikes. The ocean is so calming and being able to watch a sunset to cap off my week is *chef's kiss*
I love my peloton and riding with friends. Sounds crazy but that brings me a lot of joy! I also enjoy walks in the neighborhood with my kids. When we can make it out to the beach we enjoy playing kadima, which is a paddle board game. I make it a point to do some for of activity every day and always encourage my family to join in. Self care is so important and I like that my kids see me make time for myself.
Riding bicycles with my adorable 4 yr old son.
Hiking and trail running are my top two, but now that its warmer, I cannot wait to get out and kayak! It's so fun I don't even see it as a workout. Any time we can get outside is a win!
Definitely days spent laying out at the beach and splashing in the water with the kidos
Pickleball & badminton!
I just started taking golf lessons and it’s so amazing and fun! Never thought I’d say that!
My favorite activities currently include weekly runs with my daughter. Even though we may not be running at a fast pace, it is awesome to see her improving each week and her excitement for her success. We will be completing our first mud run together this summer!
Defiantly anything in water! A beach day with my kids is the best!
Hiking with my best friend.
Pickleball games are my favorite.
all the water games and sports!!
I love anything outdoors this time of year--walking, biking, hiking, swimming, even mowing the yard or gardening. I absolutely love a pickup game of casual, fun beach volleyball. It's invigorating and so much fun with friends and family. No pressure--just enjoying being active with those closest to my heart!
I really enjoy going out dancing with friends just vibing to great music and getting a good sweat dance session in.
Teaching a private Pilates session on Zoom this morning! Great start for a Friday! everybody enjoy the weekend! Armed Forces day celebration tomorrow in our Evans Town Center! Fireworks to end the evening!
I enjoy kickboxing, pickleball, and hiking while listening to audiobooks!
Love, Love the videos and I may not do all of these moves, but I move. I'm 66yrs of age, with many health issues that all stems from going through cancer twice, but none of it stops me from doing as I please, nor moving as I please. Yes, I have pain at times, but I don't care, I still move my body anyway I can. I think due to me having so many health issues, that's what got me to con't moving as much as I can. Lets just say, I'm angry with the issues, so I'm fighting back.
