It's time to let it go. Sometimes that's a little easier said than done.

 

This 12-minute mindful movement practice is designed to help you release what's not yours to hold, and find space to ground back into you. Through low-impact sculpting, cathartic cardio release, and mindful pauses, step off your mat feeling more balanced, open and expansive in body and mind. Tell us, what are you releasing? If you don't yet know, this practice will help you visualize it.

 

You can access the playlist for this practice here! If you would like to move with music, press "play" as we come down onto our mats and begin practice in tabletop position.

 

*NOTE: the cathartic cardio release sections can all be done with or without jumping. Please modify, slow down the pace, and honor your body throughout the practice.

I appreciate you, this workout, Athleta and AthletaWell for this great space to work out in ones own space

and time. 

I am releasing stress from work- being a front line worker with so many things to worry about currently. 

This has been a nice escape.

After spending a full day of zoom and teams meetings, it felt good to release some tension and move a bit!

I should do this more frequently during the day in little bursts of energy and release. Since I work remotely, I have no excuses!

Oh my stars, best 12 minutes I've spent in weeks! I had finally found motivation to start a 30-day yoga challenge and was 11 days in but found myself uninspired. In only 12 minutes with this program I have found my inspiration! Thank you so much for an amazing workout! I'll be back for more! I guess I'd say I'm releasing myself from unmotivation to moving to inspiration. 😊

This was a great addition to my morning yoga practice. I enjoyed the points about not being perfect, moving in whatever way feels good. I am releasing all of the negative stress I've built up lately over expectations I do not need to meet.

I love this release of tightness in my full body. I love the attention to detail, focus and consciously moving for hip and spine work. Especially need hip work! thank you Dani & Athletawell Community!

This was a very good stretch for my shoulders coming off of a busy clinic day.  My shoulders feel straighter and sitting back as opposed to being hunched forward. It feels like the tension was released "backwards ". My mind is also not as cluttered and seems lighter. Thank you for that on demand 12 minutes of movement.  I was not able to do this the other day.
