I am right there with you. I actually kind of hate the day after Christmas, lol! So, I am someone who believes that self-care can look different for everyone. For some (possibly you) self-care may actually look like doing all of the things. It may be hard for you to remember to relax because your spirit is being fed in a different way :). That said, I would recommend the following:
- Let your bedtime routine be the cherry on top of your busy days. Along with a nice hot shower, incorporating your favorite body scrubs, candles, and tea, etc. are all good ways to intentionally decompress at the end of the day.
- Be clear on your limitations/boundaries; try to focus on doing the things that feel good for you.
- Consider proactively scheduling an end of year PRD a.k.a. Personal Retreat Day. Nothing fancy. Just a day after most of the festivities have died down, that allows you to disconnect and replenish your energy. I'll talk about. this more in some of my upcoming content!
Hope this helps! Happy Holidays!
