Trouble sleeping in the summer

While I'm excited that longer days will give me more time to have fun and get things done, I'm afraid I won't be sleeping as well. Now that it's hotter, I'm already having trouble falling asleep...plus with shorter "dark" nights coming up I feel like I won't be rested enough to enjoy the day.

Anyone in the same boat? + any tips for sleeping in the heat or ways to get more restful/quality sleep?

I have trouble sleeping all year!  Sorry you are experiencing issues. Not fun.

Oh no!! What do you usually have trouble with? staying asleep, quieting your mind, getting tired, etc? @ani1313

Both!  Last night I fell asleep for an hour.  Woke up and was up till 5:30.  Needless to say, a very long day.

My doctor recommended elevating my legs for 60 seconds right before bed. Counterintuitive, but it helps. Other hacks: turning the AC down (70 degrees F or lower), turning off electronics an hour before bed, reading a book, journaling, taking a few drops of sublingual CBD oil, and slow/deep breaths.

I have been thinking about trying CBD.  Thanks for all the tips.
